Description
6–8 Gauge Firewall Cable Pass-Through
Route 6–8 Gauge automotive power cable cleanly through a firewall, floor pan, battery box, or bulkhead. Unlike a basic push-in rubber grommet, the threaded polyamide nylon body locks securely to the panel while the compression cap grips the cable jacket. Dual NBR panel washers help seal both sides of the mounting surface and protect cable where it passes through sheet metal.

Built for Automotive & Car Audio Installations
- Amplifier Power Wiring — route heavy-gauge power cable cleanly through the firewall to an amplifier or distribution block.
- Battery Relocation — secure cable where it passes through battery boxes, rear compartments, and bulkheads.
- Auxiliary Power Systems — useful for inverters, charging circuits, winches, and other high-current wiring.
- Bulkhead & Floor-Pan Routing — help protect the cable jacket where power wire passes through sheet metal.
Why Use a Threaded Firewall Grommet?
- Threaded Mechanical Mounting — locks securely to the panel instead of relying on a push-in fit.
- Compression Cable Grip — tightens around the cable jacket for a secure, finished pass-through and helps reduce movement at the entry point.
- Lightweight Nonmetallic Body — polyamide nylon provides a tough, non-conductive choice for metal, composite, and plastic panels.
- Corrosion-Resistant Construction — a practical choice where a nonmetallic cable entry is preferred.
- Dual NBR Panel Sealing — washers sit on both sides of the mounting surface to help keep the entry sealed.
Cable Fit & Compatibility
Wire gauge is only a starting reference. Cable jacket diameter varies by brand and construction, so measure your finished cable O.D. before ordering.
